Class of 2018 CCP ROLEmodels | Nashville Senior Photographer

Last year was the start of something new for CCP. I truly felt in my heart I was being called to create something different for high school seniors. Something that connected the hearts of REAL seniors to others. This means embracing your authentic, fearfully wonderfully made self. In a world of social media noise, it can be so easy to fall into the trap of imitation and comparison. There are many forms of beauty and NONE of them look the same.

Creating a meaningful senior portrait experience is more than capturing a beautiful face on camera. It’s about finding the souls of real seniors, telling their story, and documenting who they truly are during this exciting time in their lives. It’s so fun to be a part of each ROLEmodel’s senior year, and it really gives me joy to discover the beauty in each of them. ROLEmodels provides an opportunity not only for me to show them how amazing they are, but to share their love with others!

This group of young people fit perfectly with what I’ve described above. They are beautiful, smart, kind, driven young leaders. We were missing two of our ROLEmodels the day of our session.  Be sure to check back in a few months to meet Olivia and Darlene.  I can’t wait for our year together!

“Never forget that you are one of a kind. Never forget that if there weren’t any need for you in all your uniqueness to be on this earth, you wouldn’t be here in the first place. And never forget, no matter how overwhelming life’s challenges and problems seem to be, that one person can make a different in the world. In fact, it is always because of one person that all the changes that matter in the world come about. So be that person.”
-R. Buckminster Fuller
